Heard Museum

----> ancient to contemporary Native art from all over the world. i love the minimalism and how that minimalism is so un-contrived & organic, unlike so much Western ultra-modern minimalist & abstract art (which i love too). and it is astounding how modern some of the stuff from like the 1100's is. i can't stand most Western art pre-18th century; this was all so much more exciting. they had it right.
